^{}不仅获取事件,还从事件队列中删除事件。如果连续调用pygame.event.get()两次,则第一次调用将检索事件,但第二次调用返回空列表

for event in pygame.event.get(): # returns the list of events
   # [...]
for event in pygame.event.get(): # returns empty list
   # [...]

如果事件发生在pygame.event.get()的两次调用之间,则该事件将作为第二次调用接收。但这将是一个罕见的案例

pygame.K_ESCAPE不是事件类型(请参见^{}),它是一个键(请参见(^{})。
如果要检测是否按下了ESC,则必须检测KEYDOWN事件并评估.key属性是否为K_ESCAPE。e、 g:

for event in pygame.event.get():
